Funny thing how people literally got hooked on Royce. Funny thing again how I went to bought a whole box of this limited edition macha's flavoured chocolate after three of my friends talks about it. Hands, feet all down.
Cost: $15-$16 per box.
Now please ditch your plasticky commercial chocolate bars. Be a true Royce convert now!

Andersen's Denmake Almond Stick Ice-cream
I've say this again and again, told my friends again and again how I love it's vanilla ice-cream like no tomorrow (theirs really is the best). Then it's surely that I can't miss this chocolate almond coated vanilla stick. Heaven, magnum can't beat this.
Cost: $5.70

Rive Gauche Patisserie
Domani
We had each ordered a salad with balsamic vinegar (note they really do give loads of it! almost like salad in vinegar soup which I don't really mind) and a seafood risotto to share. Both dishes were just average. I would prefer the risotto to be richer in taste and stickier in texture which it failed to deliver. Honestly speaking it tasted rather bland too.
Cost of salad: around $8
Cost of risotto: around $11+

Long Beach Restaurant @ East Coast Parkway
Our family are regulars of Long Beach Restaurant, particularly the main branch located at East Coast Parkway. There are plenty of other deliciousness besides the ones you will be seeing below. I strongly urge you to try the restaurant out!
Black pepper crab. They were really fresh and spicy and good, only if eating them doesn't make a scene of myself.
I forgot what it's called. A type of clams?? Very tasty.
Close up
Steam snapper in special sauce. Love it!
And the last picture here, it was actually a dish that's usually serve during Chinese Lunar New Year called Yu Shen. The plate most of the time consist of very thinly sliced carrots, radish, cucumber, marinated carrots and radish in colorings and some other stuffs which probably I've missed listings and raw fish! People tend to drizzle it with lemon sweet sauce and crusted peanuts after which, a few tossing and mixing around, it's ready to be eaten. Personally I really like this dish, I think it will make a really good starter for a Chinese restaurant place. See look! Pretty I know right! I need to learn to make it myself...Hmmm

Blue Jazz Cafe
Not a great picture I know, it was fish & chips for me and salad (in balsamic vinegar) for my friend. Their fish & chips were not bad, pretty decent piece of fish meat under the layer of crispy crust although I personally find it a tad greasy towards the end. You could totally use the tomato sauce available at the cafe to help you finish off the last bits. Comes with fries (average) and coleslaw (preferred) as sides. This place also showcases music bands after 10pm although I am not sure on which days, if you're interested probably you can call in and check it out. However, what I certainly like about the cafe is the vibe and it's atmosphere (i will post up the picture of the place later). It helps since I'm interested to try out the other dishes on their menus too. Not to forget their price list were pretty reasonable too.

Ritz Apple Strudel
They were so great, everybody whom I introduced them to love it. Once I ate them for a whole month as my breakfast! I almost can't believe I did that! It was that addictive yes. While Ritz offer other strudel specialties as well, I still think their Apple Strudel is the best. Standard half loaf cost $10.50 and can be shared by 3 person ( 2 person if you're greedy). Please ignore the X'mas cake and other rubbishes that's around the table, the picture was taken during a gathering celebration.

Bar & Billard Room @ Raffles Hotel
Been there for both lunch and dinner buffet so that explains why there's a mixture of food pictures here with different lighting. I really love this place, lovely ambiance.
Just for your information I did not personally digested all of the food pictured below:> I just occasionally took pictures of whatever that is of reach to me (or so my camera).
Choice of salads are both available for lunch and dinner. It comes with a variety of salad dressings such as balsamic vinegar, honey mustard, garlic olive oil etc and varies from day to day. You can also throw in some salmon sashimi, shrimps (very fresh), different types of fermented cheese from their cheese board or any other sides that comes along with it if you feel like.
Seafood section
Cold plate: crabs, oysters, cold cuts etc. Available during both lunch and dinner.
And finally deserts! My bad I did not have the desert pictures taken during my dinner buffet there. I kind of collapsed when I saw chocolate fondue and the whole stretch of prettily displayed assorted cakes so yeah, I lose control easily when I see deserts. However the second time I was better at controlling myself.
I welcome you to heaven~
Recommended, they have such a huge variety of choices (menus changes from time to time) such as Chinese style fried veggies, stew meat to western pizzas, soups to peranakan soup deserts and Singaporean style laksa, chicken rice etc etc that I think it's only fair to run a food marathon. I kind of wanted to stay there for the rest of the day to in order to try out the rest of the food. There were lamb chops, beef and ribs as well. Stupid me did not have them because coincidentally on both of the days I was on my no meat (poultry and beef) days. Urgh.
Cost: I searched through the internet, supposedly it cost $55+ for lunch and $75++ for dinner?

Andersen of Denmake Ice-cream
SNACKS ATTACK!
Post brand's Strawberry honey brunches of oats used to be my favorite breakfast, they taste so good! Only if everytime going through their ingredients list will not make me do a short double-take. Breakfast cereals certainly do have lots of sugar. Around $5.95.
Swiss Butchery's desert. Now I go to Huber's Butchery as he was the previous owner of Swiss Butchery. I stick with what I like. Around $2.90 each.
Tronky, won my heart over the ever so dearly Kinder Bruneo. Yummy. Around $4.95
Emmi's raspberry yogurt and Dairy Farmers Lite Yogurt. Cost between $1.00 - $2.00
Elli's chocolate creme, fail! I bought it purely out of curiosity. It has an awful watery and gooey texture. *shivers and shakes head*

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao @ Takashimaya
I eat at Crystal Jade pretty often and almost every time we will order their soup dumplings. Gah it's making me hungry now as I type.
4 in a basket, was it $5 or $6? I would pick them over Ding Tai Fung's anytime. You can literally see how thin the skin was. It taste just as good as the soup dumplings in Shanghai.
It's a cold dish of meat marinated in sweet soy sauce. Very shanghainese style.
Pan fried dumplings, a little let down, I thought it's suppose to come with Chinese chives in it, but it's plain meat...
Spicy beef noodles, I really like the texture of the noodles.
On the left in the clay pot was the "lion head" meat ball with Chinese lettuce. It literally melts in your mouth. Yes, it really does.
In the middle was bamboo stalks marinated with sweet soy sauce, cold dish. Love it!
Absolutely recommended, we've been there so many times that the wait staff could happily recognize us.
Cost: most of the time bill came to around $30++ for two person.

Packed Unagi Sushi from Cold Storage (Bugis Junction Branch)
I was lazy to prepare dinner for myself so I bought and brought this home as my dinner and I didn't get my unagi sauce in it which made me very sad. I'm not sure if they have it in the first place but Unagis are meant to be eaten with Unagi sauce! Gladly it still taste pretty good, perhaps I'm really hungry at that point of time.
Recommended, especially when you ran out of ideas what to eat, supermarkets sushi at japanese managed shopping centers are always a safe choice for me.
Cost: $6.80 (I'm not sure if the price is different now)

Sushi Tei @ Vivo City
I've been to Sushi Tei a number of times, and each time when a friend suggested eating there I would tell myself, "okay, different location, different chef, so probably I'm gonna find some surprises this time round." Yet sadly I would say that after this visit, I am most certainly not gonna be dining at Sushi Tei anymore in the very near future. Even I can do a better job with their ingredients, what a waste of the huge clams.
Some hotpot thingy with miso base and veggies, tasted like boiled water + refrigerated miso paste + chopped veggies. You can easily make this at home!
A friend ordered this, I recommend you to buy your own meat and do it at home. What they brought to the table is pathetic.
Curry rice, good thing about this order is that at least it managed to make one of my friend feel full after finishing most of it. But taste wise, nothing spectacular.
Shared order. Topped with tiny winy bit of very salty cheese. What a waste, I would rather have it plain. EPIC FAIL!
I don't even want to mention it.
Not recommended.
Cost: around S$80 for all the orders above.
