Decaff Coffee @ Dome cafe

I can't drink coffee due to the caffeine in it which gives me terrible withdrawal symptoms. So... I drink decaff ones.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Comes with a tiny almond cracker... but the coffee was good

Review: I used to have it at marina square, like the quietness of the cafe and the fact that they have these big comfortable individual sofas by the glass windows, but apparently the cafe have moved.
Anyway just one more important thing to note, when you order decaff coffee, make sure (and I seriously mean MAKE SURE) they are decaff. I've been served in a wrong order before so right, just make sure!

Interior, sweet~

Got the chance to snap a picture of the cakes before they're all gone.
They are chocolate, blueberry cheese and cheesecake. All are recommended! Yummy.

Review: What I like about their cakes was that they are not overly sweetened. Especially their cheesecake, they are rich enough to taste the cheese flavor and yet they don't make you go, gah, too sweet! or too cheesy! Lol
Service was okay, cakes are priced around $6

Cafe Swiss

First I apologize for the pooooor quality pictures, they are taken with one of my lousiest phone that I shall not mention it's brand which I am to throwing it away.

A view of the cafe, angle taken from where I am seated, perhaps the picture doesn't show it, but man... its definitely a pretty romantic place to be at! Dark with candle lights on each table, imagine that you will have to whisper to your company instead of talking normally... so yeah it's that kind of atmosphere you will be experiencing.

Bread with butter is served before our main course.

Geezz, don't know what I am trying to snap... but the truth is, this is one dish that you have gotta try if you are there!! One of the best lamb chop I've had, we ordered in half rare, the meat is extremely tender. oh it's heaven!

Beef steak, not as nice, but I like it that it has more vegetables and mashed potato with it. I like the mashed potato very much!

And here comes the worst desert ever! So now, the moral of the story is this, never ask the waiter for recommendation if they are not enthusiastic about it. I wasn't sure what to have for desert and ended up requesting from the waiter what is his recommendation and viola! This is some cake that you can never have more than three bites. Its so gross and so sweet that all it took was 2 bites and I eventually pushed it aside. Don't be fooled by its presentation. If I remembered correctly, it's chocolate cheese cake if I'm not wrong.

Review: Excellent ambiance, very quiet and few people was around for dinner when I was there. Service was good despite the wrong recommendation of desert. Price wise, around $50 plus for a three course dinner~

Shokudo Japanese Restaurant @ Bugis

Let's just say I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends, I like the food that we ordered, the drinks that we ordered and I am certainly going to return for their food

Chicken chop (if I'm not wrong)

Meatball spaghetti

And lychee flavoured drink.

Review: Shokudo's definitely more about it's food, everything we've ordered up in the pictures taste as wonderful as it looks. Portion size were alright, probably same around what you get in waruku. However, my vote definitely goes to Shokudo.

Seafood Pizza. Taste was so-so.

Salmon spaghetti in a creamy sauce, decent portion size. Yummy.

Tiramisu for desert. Alright I guess, like it that it's not too sweet.

Reviews: We went there on a Saturday night and the place weren't crowded (like that), the interior decorations of the place was nice and clean, service was very accommodating, I believe the owner himself was serving us at that point of time. I can't really remember the price exactly, the 4 of us paid around $20 bucks per person for four dishes (one which is not included in the picture, the mushroom salad). I would say the salmon spaghetti's a winner (better than waraku's in my own opinion), as for the rest of the food, I'll need more sampling before I can give a solid review. However, I'll probably return for the spaghetti, just a note.

I had the salmon spaghetti, yummy with loads of Parmesan cheese

Sayaka had the set meal, spaghetti that comes with a mini pizza?

Review: Service was okay, food was not that impressive though. And one more thing, air conditioning needs to be monitored, not cooling enough!

Billy Bombers American Restuarant @ Marina Square

In their introduction, probably you should try their Barbeque Ribs, original Buffalo Wings, USA red-skin Potato Salad or the popular Mixed Grills.

My friend and I had the barbeque chicken (in halves), sides were the cheesy pasta thingy and veggies.

They are famous for their beer, we ordered the fruit beer and European beer ( yeah, forgot the exact name) Prices were reasonable, below $10 if I'm not wrong.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Our fruit beer has a bitter after taste while the light colored one were super smooth all the way down our throat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
We had the vegetarian pasta, portion size were pretty decent, if you are a girl or lady, sharing would be recommended. Very creamy, very yummy and definitely very fattening. Around $22.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I ordered the Merlion Pizza, it's sumptuous! I would return for this alone. Cost around $15

A friend ordered this beef steak for $33. I took a bite, did not impressed me.

And a picture of our happy faces!

Review: Food was alright, didn't blown me away or anything, but I would go back for their pizzas probably. Service staffs were friendly, laid back and casual in a good way. Overall it was a nice experience! The place was pretty packed and filled with all types of people. I'd think it'll be a good chill out place with a couple of friends.

Hot Chocolate & Marshmallow @ McCafe

Awesome!!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Yummm~

Review: I like the fact that the McCafe Barista were very careful towards making the hot chocolate drink and I enjoyed the process watching how everything was done in a meticulous manner. The hot chocolate was sweet and wonderful and made me felt like I was in heaven despite my immediate facial breakout the next day. I break out badly on chocolates but I can't help it, I mean, like... it's chocolate!
