Very first post!

Can't believe I am posting these in the middle of the midnight where I am at my hungr"iest" state. Pure torture!!!

Specially for lovers of traditional Peranakan cuisine, a unique cultural tapestry arising from the intermarriage of the Chinese and Malay heritage in Singapore. Its cuisine is a delicious amalgamation of Chinese (rice, soya beans, stir-fried dishes) and Malay, which advocates the liberal use of chilli, coconut milk and spices. The resplendent buffet spread is a showcase of authentic Peranakan offerings, jazzed up with an international twist.
The buffet design incorporates a salad counter, selection of main courses and 'live' cooking and carving stations. (taken from it's website)

Peranakan desert.

Pardon for the low quality pictures -.-I'm pretty into peranakan food and this place serves a range of food from peranakan beef stew, veges, fried rice to others like sashimi, sushi, crabs, lobsters and some funny looking things (gah I can't remember...). As for deserts, there's the chocolate fondue, plus ice-cream, fruits, peranakan deserts and assorted mini sized cakes.

I've personally been there a couple of times, service was good, staff were nice and friendly and the ambiance was very cosy.

Eat well,
^.^
